Satya's favorite style of belly dance is Tribaret, a combination of Cabaret and Tribal Fusion. Satya has studied with nationally known teachers such as Rachel Brice of The Indigo, Amy Sigil of UNMATA and Kami Liddle. Local teachers have included Belda Stack, Yashara and long time teacher Tsikki of Israel.

Satya is the former Artistic Director/Troupe Leader of the Daughter's of Durga tribal fusion belly dance troupe. Satya was also a troupe performer and soloist with the Las Vegas Belly Dance Divas (traditional Egyptian style). As part of the Divas, Satya performed for the Prana Lounge, and the Cine Vegas Film Festival.

As part of a duet with Aubrey Raven, her teaching partner, Sayta continues to be a regular at the Renaissance Festival. As a solo artist, Satya has performed for events at the Luxor, Little Buddha and Bon Jour restaurant. Satya also appeared at the Gala Premiere Party for Cirque du Soleil's Ka.

Satya with Aubrey Raven was a featured instructor/performer for the 2007 Las Vegas Belly Dance Intensive. She can be seen performing her special brand of belly dance at monthly Haflas and Drummer's and Shaker's events.
